Yesterday I heard on the news that THE
VILLAGE VOICE weekly newspaper is hanging it up, after sixty plus years of
publication. I was introduced to it in
the Navy and was impressed enough to subscribe to it.
I used to look forward to reading reviews and opinions by
Nat Hentoff and study the complexity of the weekly Jules Feiffer cartoon. All things must past.
