A couple of days ago
it came out that in the Atlanta area The Varsity hotdog was rated as number 10.
My favorite hotdog joint Brandi's was rated number 2, and an upscale restaurant Bla Bla and Finch was
number one.
I suppose the slaw, chili, onions, and whatever other
fixings effected the rating.
Yesterday some former high school friends who are now
facebook friends, and I visited number ten.
Although Brandi's have more spicy taste and more down-to-earthiness we
went with number 10 because Brandi's is not that large. We spent over an hour there - maybe two! Brandi doesn't have the room for
loitering.
On the other hand, The Varsity has the room for you to
loiter all day and not keep any one from having a seat. And their hotdogs, with slaw, chili, and raw
onions are pretty tasty, they just don't bite back... no chili burps.
