Don Rhymer Has Left Us

Jackie Gaskin called and left word that Don Rhymer had died.

I hated to hear that he is gone.  And, I suppose, some would say he has been gone for a few years.  Don had Alzheimer's disease the last years of his life

In high school he was one of the football wonder stars the Marietta High School could brag about.   I remember one time Don, Jimmy McEntrye, his future brother-in-law Tommy Hadaway, and I played hookey and had a blast, but that is a long story.  Don was a good friend.
