Today we went to our Internal
Medicine group, or our GPs, whatever.
The front desk, as nice as they are, are making sure you are walking the
line, making sure your insurance or Medicare will cover the expense, and also keeping your appointments in order and
whatever else non-medical they can provide.
Today, if I understand it correctly, they show you a
statement of course for the ones having a physical. I think what they were saying if the doctor
giving the physical asks you are doing, be very carefully how you answer
that. Like if you mention you just discovered
you have a broken finger, the insurance probably will not provide coverage for
that on a physical. However, he is a
professional doctor going by Hypocritic (?), so if he hears it, it is his sworn
duty heal it. So, the insurance might
not pay if he goes beyond his duty of giving a physical. And it could go much beyond that, what if the
doctor comes across someone with COVID-19 he needs to drop the physical and get
the person quarantined and do what he can.
What if he discovers the person he is giving a physical is pregnant
and her water broke and it is as much surprised to the her as it is the doctor?
So, when the doctor asks you as a greeting, “About them
DAWGSS?!” If your dog is sick pretend you didn’t hear him.
