The
Methodist Campground Arbor. About this
time of the year, late July and early August is a special time. It is the annual meeting times, that has been
going on over 150 years. In fact, it started in 1837. Twenty-three of the
families have cabins there that have been handed down for generations. I forgot when the Arbor was built, but I
believe it was many years before the Civil War.
We visited a couple years ago and my non-facebook friend Walker Gaines
showed us around. He and his wife
Darlene had a lot to do with the
Church's museum., which is in the little school house my mother-in-law attended
as a little girl.
