Paul Roper is alive and kicking.
Paul's knee was replaced today. And he was walking this afternoon. Now he is planning his escape route. The insurance company said they would gladly help.
I was going to wish him a speedy recovery but I wasn't quick enough.

Yep, he is walking. A therapist or a nurse had him walking today.
I have no doubt that your picture got him through and inspired him to drop the walker or crutch and walk.
I'm just glad my 8th grade picture hasn't came up yet, or it might have sent him into a coma.
Don't we all wish we had the body of that age. Well, maybe not. there was all those pimples and hormones. Could use a few more hormones, though.
Tell Paul to pay his debts so the enforcers don't do his knee again.

Paul is pretty good paying his debts. I printed some pictures for him and he has been faithfully paying me two Coor's Light Beers every Tuesday evening for months... hmmm.. although he didn't last Tuesday. He had a lot on his mind that evening, the next day was the operation. Either that or he was going over his books and saw that he has over paid me greatly. But in case he hasn't paid that little debt, as you mentioned, there is always the other knee.
