OPT
This past week, on two different days we had places we had to be at certain times. Each time we were early. We are early 99% of the time.
The first was Tuesday for lunch at a deli in Smyrna. We were to meet some retired co-workers. Which Anna, I, and a lady that lives close by rode together. The plan was to arrive about 11:00, have an early lunch, and do the gossiping catch up. If we left there within a reasonable time we could be home when the contractor to hang the shades was to come which was a window from 2:00 to 3:30. When we arrived at the dairy the other retired person was already there waiting. We got to leave at a reasonable time and was back home by 1:00, and hour before the window-time started.
The contractor arrived about 4:30. He used Contractor’s Time, otherwise known at CT.*
Thursday we took my mother-in-law for medical procedure. We arrived at least 30, maybe more, minutes early.
When we were getting out of the car, realizing we were early, I said, “OPT! Old People’s Time!”
*Contractors also go by a CC. Contractors Calendar.
