Uncle John's Bathroom books are a treasure

 

I love UNCLE JOHN’S BATHROOM READER books.   I have been reading them for years. 

At the bottom of each page They always have interesting facts, including statistics to ponder.

For instance, this morning on one page it said waitresses that draw a smiley face or a heart on the check the tip is increased 18%.  Although I am not sure if It is increased 18% of the time or the amount is increased 18%.

Another fact at the bottom of another page said car divers driving alone pick their noses 17% of the time and at the same page bottom it said lone drivers flirt 17% of the time.  I hope that is different 17 percentile group.

The nose picking fact reminds me years ago stopped at a red-light we looked over at the next car and saw one of our sons’ band teacher picking is nose.  We had dark windows and he did not.  He could not see us but we could see him.  Not only did he pick his nose, on each pick he studied fingers,  his catch
