Renea's In-law's Dogs

This picture is Renea at the Book Exchange on Canton Road on an entertaining evening.   The then-owner, Kathy, had several local authors talk and a trio of singing teenage sisters to provide music.

Renea's in-laws were so close to the fires in the mountains of western North Carolina, they were mandatoried to evacuate. 

Men helped them leave the area.

Their dogs (two schnauzers)  were not allowed to go with them. 

UPDATE!  The two dogs got through it and are out of Harm's Way!  Hoorah!
