The Return of MAD

A couple weeks ago at the magazine rack at Target I picked up MAD Magazine #537 and flipped through it.  It looked like it had some good satirical and lampooning articles.

For over a few years I felt that MAD had slid downhill.  Not nearly as bold ballsy as it used to be.

Well, they are back strong.

I went home and downloaded #537 and read it from cover to cover,  twice.  It is almost as good as it was when they first changed over from the comicbook format to the magazine format.

Also, on some of the articles you can tell the writer is so bitter over the dumbness and self-centered actions of some politicians and corporations  it takes some of the humor out of it.... which I suppose that is OK

 if they made their point.
