Bell Reunion Will Be Here Before you know It

This is Betty Hood Turley at a Bell Reunion.  A lot of people spent their childhood days playing sports at Larry Bell Park, which is where the name Bell comes from.  Many of us lived near Larry Bell Park but nobody lived closer than Betty and the rest of her Hood family.  They lived on the park grounds.  Mr. Hood worked at Larry Bell Park.  I was in school with her brother Ralph Hood and Frances was in school with Betty.

If I remember correctly the Hood family and the Sullivan family ran the park in one form or another and Al Bishop was over it all.

The reunion, maybe the last, will be held this month, the last Saturday, September the 26th, which will start about noon.
