I thought THE SPIRIT should grace our SUNDAY FUNNIES!! since its creator, the late Will Eisner, had a birthday last week and GOOGLE paid tribute with the above SPIRIT look alike GOOGLE logo. Which, speaking of, I picked this story because the opening splash is so much like the one GOOGLE did (above).
