Charles is/was Anna’s first cousin, once removed. On the back of the picture it states, "C. Loy Foster near Crabapple". The Crabapple Community is the rural community Celistine Sibley lived in and praised. Now, it is in upper Fulton County near Foysth County. Then it was probably in Milton County. The picture was probably taken before 1915.
Charles lived 55 years. He was married to Lucile Hanson (1909-1952). She lived only 43 years. They had two sons, Charles Jr., and Billy.
If you click on the picture it looks like they had a screen of chicken wire up on the back porch. I wonder why?

Do you think the chicken wire was to keep chickens off the porch? Chicken wire can screen OUT as well as IN.
Or maybe it was to keep toddlers from falling off the porch.
Or maybe it was for vines to grow on to shade the porch.

I bet it was training vines to climb! It looks to high to prohibit toddlers or chickens from wandering.
Could be it was for all those reasons.
