Love Thy Neighbor
Yesterday in the grocery department of Wal-mart a lady was trying to reach a box of Kleenex on a shelf above her head. She could touch it but did not have enough arm-length left to grip it, she could only scoot it. I walked over and asked her which color did she want and she told me, then I reached and got it and handed it to her.
In gratitude she thanked me and in the same sentence complained about items being too high on she shelves, which she said they are also too high in price now days, and she finished off her sentence by saying she thinks she will just go on welfare and let the “Spics” pay her way. She had another sentence about the spics were already all on welfare as we were walking away.
Yep, a little bit of kindness can go a long way.
