Toms River, NJ

In the Navy, after I bought my first 35mm camera (Zeiss Icon used) I rode around New Jersey for good settings to take pictures.  I came across this little inlet with sea going boats and sea going vessels are always photogenic.   Toms River is about 8 miles plus to the ocean but by water ways, I'm sure these boats knew the route.   So, I took the above picture.  A man charged out of one of the boats and ordered me to get away!  Scoot!  Vammoose!  Which I immediately complied.
I wonder why he was so sensitive.  That was in 1964.
