Nothing Person, It is Economics

Do you remember last week when we had  a moving company move some stuff from  Anna's late mother's house to our house and our son's house?  And I made a point to say they were very, professional, efficient  and courteous.
One bed room we had no reason to go back in it since the move until yesterday.   Because the temperature was warm Anna turned on the fan.  The fan was wobbly.  We turned it off and realized that it was missing a blade.

Later that same day I found the  blade (broken metal arm) back in the back of the high shelf in a closet, like it was hiding.

I suppose they couldn't really see a benefit of telling us they  that raised a big desk on its end and the fan hit it and it broke a blade off.  It might interfere with their tip.  That is the power of economics.
