GOBAG Do It Again

I think God has ordered in order to have a perfect harmonized universe it must rain in Marietta, near the Big Chicken, every Tuesday evening...otherwise, there will be chaos and misery all over.

Of course it rained. Compared to last week, it was just a little. Not much at all. Surprisingly, a good many people showed up, maybe more than normal. I don't know if anybody counted or not.

We had at least two old Marietta High Students show up for the first time, Robbie Robinson and Brad Martin. Robbie and I are related through the Tyson family. He didn't know that until I told him. I don't think he was all that impressed.

Monty Calhoun cooked a great mushroom soup and grilled sandwiches. Our Tuesday night dinners is sort of like a box of chocolates...

Chip Newport brought a 1951 Olympian year book for people to look at.

We ate, then all held hands around the fire and sung (not really). But we did do a lot of bull shitting.

Paul Roper is having an operation tomorrow. We wish him luck. And we hope none of that pain relieving medicine messes with his memory. I gave him $70 for the Billy Joe Royal concert New Years Eve and I hope he remembers who paid... or at least me.

This is Brad Martin. Look, the picture is slightly blur - I think I'll blame it on the beer he is drinking. He has been in Asia for long time, where now, that part of the world probably seems more like home than Marietta. But I'm sure seeing his old friends come alive from his memories (and also with the age process) must stir some kind of feelings in him.

Hey, Eddie, is Anonymous mad at you? Someone should tell him that typing in all caps isn't nice.

  4. Judy,
No, Anonymous is not the type of person that gets mad.

Speaking of Anonymous, he is having knee replacement surgery this morning and our thoughts are with him and Ivanell.
