This is Anna’s great aunt Lena May Foster. (1877-1939). She married Darling Johnson Moon (1885-1955) on December 28, 1909. The below is probably their wedding picture. He was 24 and she was 32. They had 5 children.
Darling lived about 70 years and Lena lived about 52 years.
After Lena died Darling married Bessie Pickard.

ReplyDeleteThey had a son they named Toy. Toy Moon.
Toy Moon was a carrier with the Marietta Post Office, but by the time I transferred there he was a timekeeper.
The picture frame is unique, narrow. Gotta love the lace collar, it's very pretty.

ReplyDeleteI think their father demanded all his children dress up and had them march to the photographer's studio... they all seem to have portraits made very similar, frame and all.
