There was a cartoon in a men’s magazine in the 1960s by Virgil Parch (a well known cartoonist at the time): one woman talking to the neighbor: “My husband loves me, he calls me his honey pot all the time.” The joke is “Honey Pot”. Honey Pot was soldiers had bowel movement in while outside during wars. I just learned that there is a street about a mile away named HONEY POT WAY. Whoever had the authority to name that street, was it a private joke or what?
