Me and Brad Martin at the Varsity. I’m the one with the “Make America Great Again” red ball cap. Just joking. The red cap is testament that I saw Mount McKinley in Alaska. The hat goes on to say that only 30% who visit Alaska the highest Mountain in North America. But I wonder what percent of the 30% are telling the truth. The day we saw it, or claim to see it it was through the clouds which might have been or might not have been Mt. McKinley, elev 20,237 ft (it’s on the hat. I’m pretty sure it was.
Brad and I, his wife Susan, Anna, his brother Dick, the Tolberts, Judy & Steve;, my cousin Tom Hunter, and the late whatzherfname Cuzzy had a mini-luncheon at the Varsity.
Brad had attended top rated schools in American.; has at least two books, one a best seller, about North Korea, one fiction and one non-fiction. He was and is heads of different news organizations in Adia.
We were in high school classes together, and even sat next to each other in a couple of classes, barely knew each other. It took something like Facebook to formally introduce us.
The other picture is Brad with his lovely wife, also a writer, Susan.
