Larry Holcomb, RIP

This house is on East Dixie Avenue in Mariettta. My friend Larry Holcomb lived in it when were kids. I lived around the corner on Manget Street. The side of our back yard touched the complete flush back of his back yard. We used to play cowboys with our stick horses in the neighborhood. The only thing is we had to be home by 4:00 every weekday afternoon to listen to the Long Ranger on radio. Then, his mother Jackie Holcomb made him take a nap

I never heard of the Long Ranger’s or Tonto’s mothers demand for them to be home at a certain time to take a nap.
