Hanging our at the Hangar

 

NAS Lakehurst, NJ, Helicopter Hangars.   See the biggest hangar?  That was where German’s Hindenburg blimp exploded in 1937.

The big hangar is on the left end and the hangar my squadron was based in is in the far right.  Our office was on the left side of the second level.  Or you might say that Hangar is where we Hanged at (Get it?).

That was over 55 years ago.  I wonder if anything has changed?
