CBS SUNDAY MORNING NEWS just did an article remembering Bob
Hope entertaining the U.S. troops in the
wars beginning in WWII and went all the
way the Viet Nam. That was a good thing. Good for him.
Unfortunately, there is a bad thing.
An Atlanta postal
supervisor I was friends with told me he saw Bob Hope perform in a war zone in
WWII. He said he could not see the
performance very well, because the black troops had to sit on the back
rows. Even the German prisoners got to
seat in font of them. That is the bad
thing.
