A brief
moment at the top of Amicalola Falls in
North Georgia near Dawsonville. It is the highest waterfall in Georgia. We revisited it a few days ago.
I was also
going to say it is the steepest - like a
cliff waterfall. It looks that way in
the winter time with not much foliage. The first several years of our marriage on our anniversary we spent a few days at the top. Then they had cabins at the top partially
around a small lake. I told the park
ranger what we did and he said the lake broke its dam and caused a lot of
damage. He said the lake and the cabins
have been done away with.
According to
the below postcards I Googled it was
more tiered than I realized.
