The Old Cobb County Health Offie

From baby to a free-range kid I lived in the Clay Homes.  Up the street a few doors was the Cobb County Health Department.   

It also hid my secret hiding place.  As you look  at the front of the building, on the left trees were there hiding   a shady gully or ditch that ran along with the side of the building.  

I see the in this picture that the trees have been removed.   That would have been a shame if it happened when I lived in the neighborhood.

When I wanted to be alone, which was often, I would go to my secret hiding place and think about things. 

You could say it was my secret Brier Patch.
