This used to
be the Coca Cola Bottling Company in Marietta.
It was located o Roswell Street across from the National Cemetery
(foreground). We lived about 4 blocks
away in the Clay Homes. I was preschool
age. My Daddy and I would take my red wagon and pull it to the Coke building
and purchase a case of Cokes. I don't
remember but I bet we carried the Coke empty bottles with us to trade
with. I did not think of it until just now when I looked at this picture
again. How did we get that wagon up and
down two flights of concrete stairs with 48 bottles?
Maybe we
walked up Coryell Street, which was the street beside it on the north side and
went in the back.
