We went to
the Carter Center for the book signing of the launching of the book JIMMY CARTER IN PLAINS - THE
PRESIDENTAL HOMETOWN , published by Arcadia Press and written by Robert
"Bobby" Buccallato. Before the signing Bobby gave a very interesting in depth talk about the topic, Jimmy Carter and his
family and his hometown. He few
of Carter's advisors were there, who added to the talk.
Here are
some pictures Anna and I took: Bobby
holding his five month old son (you can tell they are buddies); a book signing
table with left to right; Eddie Hunter
"Me", Bobby Buccellato, and the other photographer Charles Plant; and a couple of pictures of
Bobby's talk while a slide show ran on the screen to his side - Look! There's a picture by me! Look! Another one!
Charles
Plant is an excellent photographer and was the only photographer that was
allowed close to the President and his family.
Like I had to use commando-Paparazzi-type tactics to get my pictures back then and
still do.
