We got out of the Marietta Museum of History about 9:00 and
walked up to the West Park Square where we were parked. Sitting on a sidewalk flower holder was a man
strumming a guitar singing. We were the
only ones near. He was singing before we
got there and singing when we drove off, with no one listening.
Also a couple store fronts down I heard another solo
musician singing "Mr. Bojangles."
Across at South Park
Square in front of the Australian Backer were clusters of bluegrass musicians
strumming. I told Anna it was TUESDAY NIGHT! I forgot about Tuesday night in front of the
Australian Bakery - that is when everyday workers switch into their alter ego
of Bluegrass artists.
I'm glad that is still going on Tuesday nights, with or
without us
