If Anybody Knows, Moe Knows!*

On this date, June 19, 1897, 117 years ago Moe Horwitz aka Moe Howard  (1897 -1975) was born.

If watching somebody pop their brothers on the head with a hammer, poke their eyes, and pull their noses, which caused unbelievable sound effects  Moe and his two brothers  would be for you.  They would keep you in rolling in laughter.... he and his two brothers, Harry and Curley, which made up the 3 STOOGES. Moe lived almost 78 years.  They must have had mass appeal, the movie makers have already made a 3 Stooges movie without them.

Personally, I preferred the Marx Brothers and their anarchist style of rollicking, take no prisoners, brand of humor.

*During my high school years I went to a New Years Party at the late Bubba Johnson's family house where just about everybody passed out.  I was still up and suddenly, one of the friends out, the late John Witcher stood up and said, "If Anybody Knows, Moe Knows! "  And went back to being passed out.
