Here is a lampoon about a classic which became a classic itself. Or at least in my opnion this is a classic by defintion. It withstood the test of time. The story, this story, not the one Daniel Defoe wrote, was written by
MAD editor Harvey Kurtzman and expertly illustrated by Will Elder. Notice the infinite number of tiny little side jokes Elder cleverly drew in. This story was plucked from
MAD comic #13.
