Skip, Yes, I noticed that on Larry Holcomb's name. I was going to make a remark that the OLYMPIAN proof-reader after graduation went to work for the Marietta Journal, but forgot.
I don't know if you noticed or not, but in the 1956 OLYMPIAN I was given another name.
You were on the 1956 OLYMPIAN - 8th Grade 5th Page. It's been fun to see some of the people I knew that were teenagers in the late 50's and early 60's. A lot of them were the older siblings (and their classmates) of friends in my age group. .
Eddie, I'm guessing we will see your pic in the 2nd freshman group, or will you be invisible?
ReplyDeleteDid you notice Larry Holcomb's last name is spelled Hawkom ?

I did not notice another name. I don't have access to a 1956 Olympian. I can only find the 8th grade when I search you blog.
ReplyDeleteSkip, Go to the archives in January 2010, in the right column, and look for 1956 OLYLMPIIAN 8TH Grade, 4th page.
ReplyDeleteAccording to the Olympian I am Frank McKenzie which is strange because Frank McKenzie lived right behind me, our back yards touched.
