My Daughter-in-law, the Entrepreneur

The other day at my sister Bonnie’s belated birthday dinner, Sabrina furnished cupcakes for the dessert after we had scoffed up the dinner food. The cupcakes were delicious. At the last birthday dinner she furnished French macaroons for dessert. They were delicious as well.

We took some leftover cupcakes home in a box from her new bakery, Crumb{a Bakery}, which has the above neat logo.

Sabrina has started her own business. It is a bakery that offers gourmet cupcakes and French macaroons for special events, such as weddings receptions, business meetings, parties and such. Her business is licensed and rents a professional kitchen for preparation as required by law.

It always amazes me how calm Sabrina is. As far as I have witnessed, she never raises her voice and is very focused. When under pressure, she will calmly focus on her subject with the pressure of time and tempers building around her, coming out smelling like a rose.

Also, to give credit where credit is due, Sabrina has an able bodied assistant, her husband Rocky, who also keeps things running smoothly. Rocky keeps the books, frets over costs, delivers the product in a timely fashion, and gets to lick the spoon.

Click here for her website to see her fine culinary art.

  2. The web-site is fantastic and her blog has so many good photos!! I don't see how she can't be successful! I'm going to send her link to a friend who lives in Atlanta.

  4. I spent an hour on Sabrina's site tonight ... so subtle and chic. Bet she'll expand soon. Bound to succeed. Then she'll probably have to buy her father-in-law a Lamborghini :) (I had to look up the spelling).
