The above, on the left, are letters to the editors, and on the right is a subscription ad drawn by Jack Davis, which is very innovative I think, as far as subscription ads go.
The Bop Jokes section, drawn by John Severin, is one of the very few things in MAD Comic books that Harvey Kurtzman did not write. He said readers sent them in.
This post should have been last week, but Google and I had a difference of opinion. Guess who won?
I believe this is the last contribution to MAD that John Severin did.
