Back to Brandi's World Famous Hotdogs

Here I sat eating a chili-slaw dog and onion rings at Brandi’s World Famous Hotdogs and blogging on my laptop. I was to meet my two cousins (father and son) that was to come from the coast to meet me… but didn’t. Just kidding

Seriously, today I did go to Brandi’s World Famous Hotdogs again and had a chili-slaw dog and onion rings. My mother-in-law was with me, she treated. She likes Brandi’s too. That was my treat for taking her to the doctor .

Today was the second visit to Brandi’s in two weeks. I am what I eat… arf arf!

You really need to keep your camera with you and take pictures of the food at all the places where you eat. Pictures would go well with your food reports. Maybe one of those fancy camera/phones.

  2. Reuben,
I have one of those fancy camera phones - well, I have a camera phone, fancy is in the eyes of the beholder. However, I never used it as a camera, except accidentally. You know how must it costs to transmit pictures from your camera? It is not cheap - to my retirement standards anyway.

  3. et,

you must have gone too early, I was there I swear! Actually, I think I will have to settle for Willie's Weenee Wagon here in Brunswick, all this chili dog talk has me hungry.

  4. J3,
Well, you might be right, I did check out everybody's face except some guy at the far end of the counter with his face buried in a Civil War Times magazine.

Willie's Weenie Wagon? That would be a neat website address:
    WWW//WWW.com
It also reminds me of my friend I grew up with Ed W. He and his 2nd wife moved to her hometown in Quitman, Georgia, and her and her son opened up a weenie wagon. Everytime one refers to the business as his hotdog stand he very quickly corrects them, IT IS NOT MY HOTDOG STAND!!!
Maybe he better steal Brandi's chili recepe.

    Eddie,

John was in such a hurry he left without me and by the time I got there Brandi's was closed and I had to turn around and come back here for the special tour that John gave us yesterday on Jekyll Island. I always wished she would stay open for dinner. Then I could go to bed felling all warm inside.

  6. Johnny,
If I had Brandi's hotdogs in the evening not only would I feel all warm inside, but the whole area under the sheets would be all warm.

  8. John,
We have been gallivanting for a few hours. I checked out Willie's Weener Wagon on the Web, and well... according to the description they must be delicious. Maybe I better go there and check things out firsthand for an on-the-scene blog report.... that should be tax deductible shouldn't it?
