The Wild Hogs.
We rented the movie The Wild Hogs yesterday. It is about four middle aged men who make up a yuppie weekend bikers group, who needed a change in scenery, so to speak. They decided to take a ride to the west coast. It is traveling movie in a way. They run into a bikes association that take the members take themselves more seriously, and the fun begins!
It stars Tim Allen, John Travolta, Martin Lawrence, and William H. Macy.
My in-depth review: It was pretty good, mostly funny. It could almost be rated G and be a Disney movie if it didn't have any bad-words in it, which it does.
i been thinkin bout renting thst one. thx 4 the review. i'll chech it out.
ReplyDeleteMichel,
ReplyDeleteI was enjoyable - not a chick flick, but a mild guys flick.

ReplyDeleteIt's like 'City Slickers' on Harleys. I keep expecting to hear Curly say, "Day ain't over yet."
ReplyDeleteI put the utube clip about Travolta's cologne on my Cowboy blog.

Jean,
ReplyDeleteI thought the same thing that it was like 'City Slickers" yuppy types in a rough-type surrounding.
You have some nice blogs.
.Thanks, Eddie. I look forward to seeing your blog every day.
ReplyDeleteI'm beginning to wonder how I'm going to keep up the RHS 1960 blog for 48 more days. I'm about to run out of material. Fred B. and me going to my cousin's birthday party prom may be scraping the bottom of the barrel.
Jean,
ReplyDeleteDon't worry about it. Things will come. You will be thinking about something half-way in the back of your mind and then you realize you are thinking about it and wham-o!
I was doing some genealogy entries about an hour ago, after Anna and I came back from Home Depot and I kept thinking about the old man I saw trying to shoo the Canadian Geese away the other day and noticed a new flock had landed this morning... and it was timely, because I had no idea what I was going to write about next.
PS - I thought I looked at all your blogs and look at them often, but I don't know what the RHS 1960 blog is. Please link me.

ReplyDeleteThat's me on the left with grey hair, seated.
RHS 1960 is a blog for my H S reunion. Somebody asked Patsy why she decided to hold a reunion in our 47th anniversary year instead of waiting for 50, and she said, "We might not all make it to the 50th." Five people have died since 2000.
Jean,
ReplyDeleteThanks. Another good eye-pleasing blog by you.
Good for you for having an active interest in your high school reunion. My sister is active in her class (53). She arranges luncheons or breakfasts for those interested (and still alive) every other week. Recently she and I went on a little day trip to north Georgia and she said they were doing good this year, they haven't lost but two.
I have yet been to a high school reunion and our 50th will be in three years. Although, I did go to a mini-informal reunion last summer, we went to Hiawasee (Ga) to see an old class mate (Billy Joe Royal) in concert.
