This is my a picture of my uncle Herbert and my great-uncle Ed on the prowl. That looks like a female on a horseless carriage (for real) or a horseless surry. Uncle Ed was born in 1888 and Herbert was born in 1901. From that, I would guesstamate that the picture was taken about 1921 or 1922.
At the time they were both single and fancy-free. What were they going to do, take the horses place to give the young lady a ride?
What dapper dandies they were!

That reminds me in the movie "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?" George Clooney was always looking for Dapper Dan hair oil.
