Clifford Flannagan

 

My old friend and longtime co-worker Cliff Flannagan has been put in Hospice at the Veteran's Hospital in Decatur.  Please pray for him and/or wish him the best.

Rogers Ferry on the Chattahoochee River

 this is Rogers Ferry crossing over the Chattahoochee River, about 1890. They are probably coming from Atlanta's side to the Roswell side. On board with his two mules and wagon is William Cinatra "Buck" Jones (1850 - 1930).

Buck, a farmer, was a resident of the Cumming-Alpharetta (Milton), Georgia, area. He was married to Sarah Ann Elizabeth "Sallie" Brown (1848 - 1920). They were/are Anna's great great grandparents, on her mother's mother side.

Chicken Charles Crews

 The late Charles "Chicken" Crews and George Wallace at a Bell Reunion. I think as a youngster Chicken boxed in the Golden Gloves at Larry Bell Park. Charles Ronald Crews died in 2012. He was a cancer victim.

Believe me, Chicken was no chicken.

c1917. Brothers Clifford and Paul Prance. Left is Clifford Prance (1914-1992) and right is Anna's father Paul Prance (1910-2000). Clifford is the father of Franklin and James. Paul is the father of James, Tommy, Julian, and Anna. Paul and Clifford, along with their other siblings were born in Cobb County and spent their lives in Cobb County.

Anna Nichole Smith's Palace in Nassau

 

This is the late Anna Nichole Smith's estate in Nassau, in the Bahamas. I took these a short time after her death. The gates were closed to keep nosy people like me at bay (literally). But, as you can see, with lattice gates for protection nosy people like me find a way.
